Dental Hygienists in Burbank, IL
All Dental Hygienists in our office have extensive education in helping provide you with the very finest and caring dentistry. New patients often remark, "I never had a cleaning that good before."
They work very closely with the doctors to return and maintain your mouth in a state of good health, comfort and appearance. So close are the bonds that develop that many patients request the same hygienist time and time again.
In addition to periodic cleanings, they provide Periodontal Screening and Recording, Scaling and Root Planing, Sealants, fluoride treatments and oral hygiene instruction.

I have been practicing dental hygiene for 49 years. After graduating from Loyola University I began to work for Dr. Kowalik and have continued to be part of the team in his office. I have met many wonderful people and enjoy seeing them when they have appointments with us. I also enjoy seeing new patients and always hope they feel comfortable as part of our "dental family." We enjoy more time in Florida since my husband's retirement.
I've been a practicing Dental Hygienist for 41 years; 40 of which have been with Dr. Kowalik. I received my degree in Dental Hygiene at Prairie State College in 1981. I enjoy working in the field of dentistry and watching the growth and advancements that dental hygiene and dentistry have made. After working at one office for 40 years, your coworkers and patients become more like family and friends. As far as my personal family, all four of my children are now adults with the oldest being 36 and the youngest 28. My oldest daughter is married and the youngest daughter will be married in the fall. My spare time is spent enjoying the sport of curling.
Most recently added to our team we want to introduce you to Liz. We are certain that you will feel very much at ease with her. Everyone in our office feels that she is a perfect fit. She is a very nice person to be around and she is an excellent dental hygienist. In every way she is top notch. In school she was on the dean's list, the honors list and a Presidential Scholar. On a personal note she is married and has two sons.
It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Mary Jo, with us since 1985, has decided to retire at the end of July, 2022. Her calm, comforting, dependable work ethics have been a blessing to her patients and her fellow workers. With Mary Jo everyone had a feeling that they were part of our family. She and her husband can now spend time traveling and exploring. Although we wish her well with that, we will miss her unfailing commitments to her patients' health. We know that you will also miss her.
